Unbound Gravel is the heavyweight of gravel bike races just under an hour from Marion in Emporia, KS. If you're even slightly into gravel, you know this one. Riders come from around the world, ready to take it on.

The courses range from a 25-mile intro ride to a brutal 350-mile grind through the Flint Hills. And each ride is as rugged, beautiful, and full of bragging rights as the next one. During race week, which is generally the last week of May, Emporia becomes gravel-bike central with food trucks, live music, and serious energy.

Flint Hills Bent Rims

Flint Hills Bent Rims is more than a riding group — they're your hookup for raw, scenic off-road routes in Kansas. They lead group rides in the Flint Hills that cover rocky climbs, double-track, and creek crossings.

Rides stretch 100+ miles through remote terrain. They keep it organized but chill — gas stops, diner lunches, and good stories are always part of the plan.

This group hosts the Florence Grand Prix, which attracts hundreds of riders and thousands of spectators on Memorial Day weekend each year. What began as an annual race in 1972 and ran for six straight years was revived in 2022 on its 50th anniversary. It is now a beloved annual event in Marion County. The exciting 100-mile track becomes home to vintage bikes, modern bikes, women riders, teams, and pros from across the nation. 

Florence Bike Run

Jeeps Motorcycle Club

Jeeps Motorcycle Club has been around since 1936, which makes it motocross royalty in Kansas. The track is just outside Wichita in Park City and is known for fast lines and a laid-back crew that welcomes everyone.

The Kansas Motocross Championship Series rolls in with spring, bringing good racing, great people, and perfectly dialed-in dirt. Events roll throughout the colder months, with annual favorites like the Turkey Trot in November and the St. Valentine’s Massacre in February.

Inman Motocross

Inman Motocross sits near the quiet town of Inman, KS. It's easy to find and fun to ride. This track isn't huge, but that's part of what makes it great. It's quick, well-kept, and packed with just enough challenge to keep things interesting.
