Victorian Ballroom

Our Victorian Ballroom is a dream come true. The space exudes elegance and class. You will be lost in love in the historic charm of this intimate space.

This is one of many spaces you can choose to exchange your vows during an intimate elopement at the Elgin.

All elopement packages include:

  • Use of ballroom, courtyard, bridal suite, and groom's lounge for 4 hours between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Officiant
  • Wifi
  • Day-of elopement coordinator
  • Tables, chairs, banquet equipment
  • Setup & tear down
  • Applicable taxes

The Courtyard

Our vintage courtyard is the perfect place to pledge your love to one other. Surrounded on the three sides with historic limestone, the courtyard exudes that nostalgic feeling of yesteryear. Elopement packages include the use of the courtyard as well as the ballroom, so you have a "rain plan" for no additional charge.

In addition to this, we offer twelve unique suites that you can retire to after your intimate elopement ceremony. Private en-suite bathrooms, jacuzzi tubs, spa showers, oversized clawfoot tubs, and Smart TVs as well as complimentary Wifi, in-room refrigerators, docking stations, and plush robes and slippers make a stay at the Elgin a remarkable and unforgettable Kansas elopement experience for you.

    Staff did an amazing job of answering all of our questions leading up to the wedding. They had a backup plan if it rained, and they were very accommodating. All of our guests said it was the perfect place and it fit our Gatsby 1920s theme! This is definitely a place we will recommend, and we also plan on coming back to celebrate anniversaries!

I cannot provide enough praise for Tammy and her team at the Elgin for making our wedding day better than we could have asked. Overall, I could not more strongly recommend the Elgin Hotel. They make your guests feel like they're at home with such strong attention to the small details and make all of your dreams come true for your wedding! You absolutely cannot go wrong with the Elgin!

    We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Elgin. They were great to work with, and the space is absolutely beautiful. We were able to reserve most of the rooms for family and friends the night before the wedding and had a lovely time hanging out and making ourselves at home in the several gathering areas spread throughout the space. Organizing the ceremony and reception was virtually painless, and the Elgin team went out of their way to make everything come together perfectly. What I love about this space is that we can come back to stay and remember the experience - it is going to be a yearly tradition for my husband and I to stay at the Elgin on our anniversary.
