Kick off the Christmas season with a day full of Christmas fun in Marion, Kansas on Saturday, November 29th — the day after Black Friday! Merchants and community organizations are hosting Christmas events and activities to celebrate the holiday!

• 9:00–11:00A – Biscuits & Gravy at Bil & Essie’s
• 9:00A–3:00P – Jingle & Mingle at City of Marion Community Center, 203 N. Third
• 9:00A – Free cookies for kids at CB Baked Goods (while supplies last), 420 E. Main
• 9:00A–4:00P – Ornament making and hot cocoa at Crafty Cactus, 329 E. Main (2 for $5.50)
• 10:00–11:30A – Free photos and visit with Santa at the Marion City Library, 101 Library St.
• 10:00A–3:00P – Free kids rides on the St. Luke Hospital train leaving from CB Depot, 420 E. Main

• 12:00–3:00P – Live camels at Marion City Library
• 12:30–12:45P – Free snow at Historic Elgin Hotel
• 2:00P – Annual Cookie Swap at the Historic Elgin Hotel, 115 N. 3rd (FREE, but bring 3 dozen Christmas cookies or treats and be present at 2P)
• 3:00–5:00P – Draft Horse Sleigh Rides sponsored by Edward Jones and Marion National Bank
• 5:30P – Lighted Christmas Parade – Downtown

• Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree
• Sing Christmas carols in Central Park
• Free hot chocolate and apple cider in the park offered by St. Luke Hospital & Living Center
